The Village of Empire requests proposals from qualified professionals in the fields of planning, economic and community development, or related fields, to assist the Village of Empire Planning Commission in updating the Village of Empire Master Plan.
Notice of Intent to Update the Village of Empire Master Plan and Recreation Plan
In accordance with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Public Act 33 of 2008, as amended, this notice is being provided to citizens that the Village of Empire has initiated a process to comprehensively update the Village’s adopted Master Plan including the Recreation Plan. The Planning Commission would ask for your cooperation and assistance in this process. Specifically, the Village Planning Commission would like to garner any thoughts, concerns, or issues citizens feel should be addressed in this effort. The Commission’s intent is that your input would allow for more cooperative public efforts in land use planning for the Village area.
