Early Childhood County Committee

The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners (BOC) established the Early Childhood County Committee on February 19, 2019, and charged the committee with discussing options on how the county can support quality early childhood programs and services, creating a continuum of supports that helps to build a strong foundation for children.  In July, the Committee will report their recommendations regarding what the county and other entities might do to improve the outcomes for young children and make Leelanau County the best place in Michigan to raise a family.
