On October 9, 2024 the Centerville Township Board of Trustees adopted amendments to the
Centerville Township Zoning Ordinance including:
Amended Sections 2.2: Definitions; 3.8: Use of Lots for Lake Access Easements; 3.9: Docks,
Moorings and Boats; 3.12: Trailer Homes; Section 3.15 Towers and Antennas; Section 3.20:
Commercial Wind Energy Conversion Systems; Section 3.21: Agriculture-related Enterprises;
Section 4.4 Schedule of Regulations - Building Height; Section 5.2: Residential I; Section 5.3:
Residential II; Section 5.4: Ski View Farms Subdivision; Section 9.1: Agricultural District -
Permitted Uses; Section 13: Site Plan Review; and Section 16.9 Public Notice. New Sections:
Purpose, etc.; Section 3.18: Small Wind Energy Conversion Systems; Section 3.19: Small Solar
Energy Systems; Section 12.5: Marinas (prohibited); Section 12.6: Seawalls (prohibited); and
Section 14: Standards for Special Land Uses. Deleted Sections 3.8: Boat Houses; Section
14.1.I. Light Industrial/Warehousing District; Section 9.4: Mining or Removal of Topsoil; Section
17: Waterfront Overlay; Section 18: Mineral Extraction Overlay; and Section 18.1: Separability.
