Subject: Online scheduler for 2023 for Household hazardous waste & Electronics collections
This year, the county has set up an online scheduler for the 4 Household hazardous waste (HHW) & electronics collections. Visit

Residents can select their day and time and fill in the required information. They will receive an email confirmation which also has buttons to ‘cancel’ or ‘reschedule’ in case they need to change an appointment. They will also receive a reminder several days before their appointment. Time slots will drop off the appointment list, as they become full.
For those residents who can’t schedule online or need assistance, call the Planning & Community Development office at 256-9812 or email planning@leelanau.gov and staff will provide assistance. As a reminder, these collection events are for Leelanau County Households ONLY.
