NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO ELECTRONIC RECYCLING OR DOCUMENT SHREDDING AT THE 2024 HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTIONS.
THE NEXT HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION (HHW) WILL BE
IN 2025.
Please check back in March 2025 for future dates.
Appointments are required for ALL HHW events.
NOTE: All Household Hazardous items must be brought to the collections in BOXES OR PAPER BAGS

SCRAP TIRE & MATTRESS RECYCLING COLLECTION
FRIDAY, OCTOBER11, 4PM-6PM AT PESHABESTOWN RECYCLING SITE PARKING LOT
$2.00 non-refundable fee per tire
$5.00 non-refundable fee per mattress and/or boxspring
No tires from a commercial business and no oversized tires.
Rims are acceptable and there is a limit of 10 tires per household.
Mattresses must be dry, stored indoors, off the ground, and under a tarp prior to drop off.
Pre-payment and appointments are required.

Tire and mattress collections are partially funded with a grant from EGLE, and 2% allocation funds from the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
