Materials Management Plan (MMP)
NOTICE OF INTENT TO REGIONALIZE MATERIALS MANAGEMENT PLANNING PROCESS
Leelanau County filed its Notice of Intent to prepare the Materials Management Plan and has become the County Approval Agency as required per Part 115, Solid Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act,1994 PA 451, as amended.
Leelanau County intends to complete the Material Management Plan development as a multi-county plan with Grand Traverse County and Benzie County. Please note that all materials management planning committee meetings will be open to the public and notices of these meetings will be posted at www.leelanau.gov and at the Leelanau County Government Center, 8527 E. Government Center Dr., Suttons Bay, MI 49682.
