Leelanau County Senior Services provides a variety of programs and services to meet the growing needs of seniors.  We recognize that all needs are different and strive to take a holistic approach to provide a range of services and programs that address the unique physical, social, and emotional needs of our seniors.

A person must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Leelanau County to be eligible for services. 

Some of the programs and services offered require seniors to demonstrate a need for assistance.

Call us if an individual is……

Experiencing out-of-control behaviors that place him/herself at risk of harming self or others,

Expressing thoughts of suicide,

Experiencing severe stress that is resulting in a significant decline in daily and/or family functioning, or

You just don’t know what else to do.

 

     * Senior Services is funded through a property tax millage, private donations and fees, overseen by the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners.

 A person must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Leelanau County to be eligible for services.
