The Leelanau County Administrator’s Office is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time (40 hours per week) Facilities Director under the general supervision of the County Administrator.

SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR MEAEP TECHNICIAN

The Leelanau Conservation District is hiring a Technician to carry out the Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP). The MAEAP Technician is responsible for delivering on-farm technical assistance in Leelanau and Benzie Counties. Technical assistance includes conducting farm-specific risk assessments; coordinating local, state, and federal agency resources to help farmers reduce environmental risks; and assisting farmers in making progress toward MAEAP verification, which recognizes farms as top environmental stewards. The MAEAP Technician is also responsible for collaborating with Conservation District staff to promote MAEAP and educate diverse audiences on the importance of sustainable agriculture in counties of coverage.

The Leelanau County Finance Department is seeking qualified candidates for the Full-Time (35 hours per week) Assistant Finance Director under the direction of the Finance Director.

This is a non-Union position, with full County benefits, including medical, dental, vision, pension plan, life insurance, and personal and vacation days. The salary range is $62,523 to $69,282.
