The Animal Control Deputy for the Sheriff’s Office is Wayne Kalchik. He began his service to the county in 1996 as a seasonal Marine Patrol Deputy and is now full time in animal control.

If you would like to file an animal control complaint, call 231-256-8800, which is the non emergent contact number for the county dispatch center. They will take your information and forward it to Deputy Kalchik.
