Cemeteries (Bingham and Maple Grove)

BINGHAM TOWNSHIP'S TWO CEMETERIES

Both Bingham Cemetery and Maple Grove (Keswick) Cemetery are located on S. Center Hwy (aka Co.Rd. 633).  For information regarding the availability of lots, or to search cemetery records, call the Clerk at the township office at 231-922-6767 on Wednesdays, 10am-4pm, or leave a message.

The management of the cemeteries is guided by an ordinance, updated and approved in 2007. Hard copies are available at the township office, 7171 S. Center Highway, 231-922-6767.

NOTE of January 2013: For the past two years, volunteers and staff have been working to create new maps where necessary, notate existing maps, and, in general, update cemetery records.  A procedures manual is in development, as a guide for future record-keepers.
